Easter is a fun filled holiday. I prefer as a teacher of young preschool children to not color the eggs in class, in case parents still want to keep that a mystery to their children. But there are so many other fun activities to do.

Bunny Basket
Cut off the lid of a gallon milk jug. Then cut down and around the bottom of the handle and up towards the opposite side towards where the lid used to be. Then cut one inch handle strips on those opposite sides dipping and back up to make pointed bunny ears separated by a small hill nose. Last you can staple the handles together and decorate it with pom pom nose and cotton ball tail to look like a bunny.
I have included a pattern below, although I modify it by cutting the ears a bit longer

CAN YOU FIND THE EASTER EGGS
Tune: Do You Know The Muffin Man
Oh can you find the Easter eggs,
The Easter eggs, the Easter eggs?
Oh can you find the Easter eggs,
Hiding all around?
Oh yes I found some Easter eggs,
The Easter eggs, the Easter eggs?
Oh yes I found some Easter eggs,
Laying on the ground.
I put them in my basket now,
My basket now, my basket now.
I put them in my basket now.
Come see how many I've found.
