Handprint Reindeer Antlers
>Use the children's hand prints as antlers and attach them to headband. They can also add a red reindeer nose to prance around as Rudolph.
They can also make a Rudolph by tracing around their shoe for the reindeer face and have their handprints as the antlers.
Santa Beards
Have the children glue cotton balls pulled apart to a Santa beard pattern and then you can use yarn to tie it behind their ears.

Decorating Classroom Tree
Encourage the children to help decorate a minature Christmas tree for the classroom. Give every child an opportunity to place a decoartion on it. Some of these decorations can be handmade by the children.

Star of David
In advance hot glue popsicle sticks together in two triangles making the star of david. Have the children decorate them with paints or dobbers, or glitter glue. When they are dry you can tie a bit of ribbon to them.

Christmas Trees
Let the children decorate a Christmas tree pattern with sequins, and glitter glue, and then have them put a star sticker on top. If you have tiny squares of wrapping paper, the children can add those as presents underneath.

Holiday Cookie Cutters
Let the children play with holiday cookie cutters while playing with playdough.
Bring in cookie dough for the kids to use cookie cutters to make holiday cookies. Don't forget the sprinkles. |
Placemats
Cut slits into a paper and have strips of red, black and green paper for the kids to weave into a mat.
Toilet Paper Roll Candle
Have the children cover a toilet paper roll with white paper and then let them decorate it with any medium. Stick some red and orange jagged tissue paper out of the top for flames.

Holiday Memory Game
Print off some pairs of cards with pictures from different winter holidays so the children can play some matching games with them. They can also sort which pictures are from which holidays.

Name That Tune
If your children are old enough to know the classic Christmas carols, you can have them take turns bawk, bawkinng like a chicken the first few notes of the carol while the rest of the class guesses which one it is.
